  Sun’s UV rays, that harm the skin are of two types
UVA RAYS:
Longer wavelength penetrates top layer of skin and affects deeper. Damages skin all year long Protection Indicator: PA+, ++ and +++
UVB RAYS
Shorter wavelength can’t penetrate but damages the top layer of skin. Affects most during summer Protection Indicator: Sun Protection Factor(SPF)
